It will intiate or control the functioning of gene.(functioning of gene includes poly peptide synthesis,enzyme synthesis ,rna synthesis).
b)Enhancer:-
It will speed up the functioning of promoter.
c)Terminator:-
It will cease the functionong of gene.
DNA REPLICATION:-
Formation of dna from dna.
TRANSCRIIPTION:-
Formation of mRNA from dna.A process by which gene come back to its normal form.
TRANSLATION:-
FORMATION OF POLYPEPTIDE(CHAIN OF AMINO ACIDS,PROTEINS).
The entire process of replication,transcription ,translation,go like this:-(DNA-mRNA-PROTEINS).
